When I first saw you advertised
I laughed my ass off, surprised.
Is this really necessary–
pumping with your hands free?
Pregnant back then, little did I know
It would be my fate in a month or so,
To be hooked up to a pump like a little cow
For months on end, here I sit even now.
But the magic is, you see
you hold the girls up for me
So now as I milk
spraying white streams of silk
I click and type with my hands free
and a whole world is open to me, wheee!
I am reading blogs galore
and every night there’s more!
I could do all this without pumping, true.
But thanks to you, I have an excuse, mooo.

yer funny
You have a beautiful family! Know that surviving HELLP puts you in a special class of brave women who know that being pregnant isn’t always the “safest” of things in this life. Fortunately, you have been blessed with your son and the love of your family.
Your poem made me laugh as I thought the same thing when I was a BFing momma. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I look forward to reading your posts.
