We got the results of my final follow-up Liver Function Test, and the liver specialist has proclaimed my liver NORMAL!!!!!!!!!! Yipppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Now we are 100%, rather than 90%, sure that my disease was limited to pregnancy and is OVER! and I am HEALTHY! How boundlessly grateful am I.

Is that a stuffed animal liver? Too cute… One of the girls I went to summer camp with had a stuffed banana – before it was cool to have stuffed toys that weren’t the typical breed of bears and cats and bunnies.
I’m so glad to hear you are 100% healthy.
Love to you.
Great news!!!
So is it likely to recur if you were to get pg again?
That is great news! I’m not sure if I ever shared this with you Susanna, but my daughters have a genetic disorder of the liver/lungs called Alpha-1. I’m quite familiar with liver function tests…Grace and Meghan’s livers always run abnormal AST and ALT…sometimes their bilirubin numbers fluctuate…but right now, they are doing quite well with mild liver dysfunction.
I’m so glad your liver settled down.

Also, I did NOT know how large and high up the liver is, judging by that anatomy drawing. Oh, American public education system, you’ve failed me again.
