Ummmm…. (holding the phone coquettishly to his cheek)
Hi (usually “hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi”)
Poop (first said today, after he pooped)

She’s a good girl.
It always amazes me that their first phrases refer to the pets in their life and food. Because really, animals and eating are all that matters.
Wow! He’s talking! I can’t wait to see him (and hear him say “Read book.”) when you return from your trip!
